Born and raised in New York, I first taught myself how to draw as a child while my family and I worked in the many clothing factories of Brooklyn in the 90’s. Years later as an adult, I somehow find myself still surrounded by needles, loud machinery, and the never-ending desire to draw — only now the final product of my labor is in the skin rather than on it.
